Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy
in Carp Village
Massage Services
We’ve just expanded our team with a second RMT.
Massage Therapy
Offering Swedish, Deep Tissue, Manual Lymph Drainage, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy. Treatments can reduce pain and stress, improve circulation, mobility, nerve conductivity and sleep, and are appropriate for a variety of conditions. I will discuss your needs with you in our intake prior to treatment.
Craniosacral Therapy
Gentle, hands-on treatment that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body wellness. Using a soft touch, I release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. Craniosacral therapy can be woven into a massage and can also be the sole modality used in your treatment. We will discuss your specific needs in our intake.
Prenatal Massage
Beneficial and safe at all stages of pregnancy. May include a variety of massage modalities to best serve you. I will discuss your needs with you in our intake prior to treatment.

About Amy Courtney
I am a Registered Massage Therapist, registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I’ve been training in and practicing massage and bodywork since 2005. I bring a grounded presence to this work and approach my clients from a whole-person perspective.
I am a graduate of Sutherland-Chan in Toronto and I also studied with Upledger and Esalen Institutes in the U.S. I have experience working in a range of modalities, including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, craniosacral therapy and reiki. I adapt the pressure and pace of my touch to each treatment, giving time for your body to adjust and noticing its most subtle shifts.
I’m an authorized provider for Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
Massage therapy is my second career path. Before becoming an RMT I co-owned an organic vegetable farm in Santa Cruz, California. Now my partner, son and I grow our own food on an acre of property in Kinburn. As a farmer I spent a lot of time with my hands in the earth—and now, through therapeutic touch, I give this goodness back to each client.
Amy’s guiding philosophy is that effective, satisfying massage comes from clear communication anchored in listening.
